Weirdbass is a project by Kaio Donato, dj and producer from Juiz De Fora, Minas gerais, Brazil.
He got involved in electronic music when he was 12 years old, influenced by his relatives. His path towards psychedelic trance music has been marked since then.
Kaio moved to Aracaju-SE and he started to hang out in the underground psychedelic scene, where he started his career playing at local parties.
In 2014, he started to get more and more involved into music production and he decided to take some courses and study the theory of music production, starting to produce his own psytrance tracks in 2015. His current production engages highly psychedelic synthesizers, trippy leads and focuses on fluctuating atmospheres. Weirdbass brings his audience to a unique, deep and totally psychedelic experience.
He has performed along side some of the biggest names of the national and international scene, among which: EVP, Reality Grid, Dj Iguana, Naked Tourist, Labirinto, Ekanta, Twelve Sessions, and others.
